By tomorrow, low pressure will turn into depression
AMARAVATI: Monday’s Low Pressure Area over South Andaman Sea and adjoining Malacca Strait moved westwards and lay over the South Andaman Sea at 8.30 am on Tuesday, the Meteorological Centre said. In a daily weather report here, it is said that the low pressure area is likely to move west-northwestward and intensify into a depression over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 30. Thereafter, it is likely to move northwestward and intensify further into a cyclonic storm over the southeast Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 48 hours. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
