CHENNAI: The East Central Railway (ECR) has notified revision in the stoppages and timings of train service between Barauni (Bihar) and Coimbatore weekly special train (5 services).

Barauni-Coimbatore weekly special fare special train (03357) will leave at 11:45 pm on April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 from Barauni and reach Coimbatore at 4 am, fourth day of each service. Coimbatore-Barauni (03358) will leave Coimbatore at 12:50 am on April 5, 12, 19, 26 and May 3 (Wednesdays) and reach Barauni at 6 am, the third day of each service. New stoppages are given at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Kesinga, Muniguda, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Kottavalasa and Duvvad while stoppage at Visakhapatnam is withdrawn. The train will travel through Rajamundry, Vijayawada, Nellore, and Perambur.

CHENNAI: For track maintenance and upgradation work, the Southern Railway has announced cancellations of some train services in Madurai division. Partial cancellation Tiruchirappalli-Rameswaram Express (16849) leaving Tiruchirappalli Jn at 7:05 am from April 1-15 between Manamadurai and Rameswaram Jn. Rameswaram-Tiruchirappalli Exp (16850) between Rameswaram and Manamadurai Jn from April 1-15. It’d commence service from Manamadurai Jn at 4:35 pm. Tiruchirappalli

Jn-Karaikal DEMU express special (06880) leaving Tiruchirappalli Jn at 10:45 am between Tiruvarur Jn and Karaikal from April 1-30. KaraikalTiruchirappalli Jn DEMU express special (06739) leaving Karaikal at 3:10 pm between Karaikal and Tiruvarur Jn from April 1-30. It’d commence service from Tiruvarur Jn at 4:25 pm. Full cancellation Thanjavur-Mayiladuturai Jn Exp special (06874) leaving Thanjavur Jn at 10:05 am is fully cancelled from April 1-29, except on Sundays.
