CHENNAI: Special trains would be operated from Chennai Central to clear extra rush of traffic during Sabarimala festival.

Train 06027 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Kottayam will leave at 11.30 pm on November 26, and Dec 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 (Sundays) and reach Kottayam at 1.10 pm the next day (7 services).

Train 06028 Kottayam – Dr MGR Chennai Central will leave at 7 pm on November 20 & 27, and December 4, 11, 18 and 25, and January 1, 2024, (Mondays) and reach Chennai Central at 10.30 am the next day (7 services).

Advance reservations for trains comprising 2 AC tier-II, 6 AC tierIII, 4 AC tier-III Economy, 6 sleeper class, 2 general second class coaches and 2 second class (Divyangjan-friendly) coaches are open.

Trains will be run between Chennai Central – SMVT Bengaluru/ Yesvantpur to clear extra rush of passengers for festive season.

Train 06031 Chennai Central – SMVT Bengaluru will leave at 5.15 pm on today (Monday) and at 10 pm the same day (1 service).

Train 06032 Yesvantpur – Chennai Central will leave at 11 pm tomorrow (Tuesday, November 22) and reach at 4.30 am the next day (1 service). Advance reservation for the trains comprising 8 coaches each are open.
