Tamil Nadu recorded 35 cases of COVID-19 on Monday, taking the total number of cases to 34,54,925 in TN. Chennai reported the highest number with 19 cases, and Chengalpattu reported 10. The active cases have dropped and stands at 331, with Chennai reporting 183 currently. Coimbatore had 3 cases, Kancheepuram had 2 and Mayiladuthurai had 1 case. With 11,239 samples being tested in the past 24 hours, the overall test positivity rate (TPR) in Tamil Nadu stood at 0.3%. Chennai saw the highest TPR of 1.3%. A total of 32 more people were discharged in the State, taking the total recoveries to 34,16,569. No new fatalities were recorded, and death toll remained at 38,025.
